And here's a BONUS tip!

Many post-ops ask what to do if they can't drink all their shake at one time? Shakes that sit too long can separate and develop a strange taste. That's no good!

Nikki Massie of Bariatric Foodie suggests you divide your shakes in half: place one in the cup you'll drink from and the rest in a blender bottle or shaker cup (a cup that comes with either a wire whisk ball inside it or a mesh attachment that goes under the lid, so that when you shake the cup it re-blends the shake). That way you can drink what you can now and use the shaker cup to ensure the rest blends perfectly for later!
